You need to identify students with poor grades so you can initiate intervention, you need to report on grade frequencies or distributions or you want to find classes where grades weren’t submitted.

Start with a pre-built filter
Use this as a starting point. You can add fields to further narrow inquirers students returned.
The student finder will show students who received the selected grade(s) but won’t show which classes the student received the grade for. To which class(es) the student received the grade use an SSRS base report instead.

Go to Filters > Students.
In All Users select ZCC STUDENTS WITH CLASS GRADE.
Click Filters.
Next to Course Semester click the three horizontal lines, select the semester(s) when the courses ran and click Apply.
By default, the filter searches for grades of D and F. In Final Grade enter the grades you’re looking for separated by commas. Alternatively, you can click the three tantalization horizontal lines and select the grades.
Click Submit.
Add criteria
You can further narrow your results by selecting Add Fields, searching for the field name and selecting it.

Site Code to narrow the results to only grades given to students in a specific site. Your sites may be physical such as different campuses or program-based such as a day program and a night program.
Degree Majors to narrow the results to students enrolled in certain major(s).
Build results
You can show additional information alongside the results by selecting Column Visibility, searching for the field name and selecting it.

Class level to narrow the results to students only at a certain class standing such as freshman or sophomore.

The student finder shows all students who received the grade you entered, which can be helpful if you want to quickly identify students with a failing or incomplete grade or you want to send a note to communicate with students with a specific grade. If you need further details, such as which class they were awarded the grade, use a base report.
