grade control (grading window)

Grade control allows an institution you to set dates in which faculty and advisors may assign grades. a window of dates during when instructors can assign grades. For example, you may only want instructors to be able to enter grades after the last day of classes. And you may wish to prevent grade entry two weeks after classes end.

Grade control works in conjunction with permissions.

Set Grade Control

Add grade control (set grading window)

  1. Go to Registrar > Grade Control.

  2. Click Add

  3. Enter the semester code

  4. If applicable, enter the sub-semester

  5. Choose the grade type, Deficiency, Final or Year

  6. Choose the user type, Faculty or Advisors

  7. Start Date is the first date the group may enter grades

  8. End date is the last date the group may enter grades

  9. Click Save.

  10. Select a Semester.

  11. Optionally, select a Sub Semester.

  12. Select the grade Type.

  13. Select the User Type, who this grading window applies to.

  14. In Start Date enter the first day grades may be entered.

  15. In End date enter the last day grades may be entered.

  16. Click Save.
