Map Advisees to Specific Dashboards
Advisor numbers may be mapped to see their advisees on specific dashboards based on their Advisor number (Advisor 1, 2, 3, or 4). The current default dashboard advisor mapping is:
Advisor 1: Student Services Dashboard
Advisor 2: Financial Aid Dashboard
Advisor 3: Student Financials Dashboard
Advisor 4: Placement Dashboard
These may be adjusted using Custom Control (Admin Menu → Custom Control) Program Id DASHADVISE Sequence 1, Parameters 1-4. By placing the Advisor number(s) into the specific DASHADVISE parameter will map that Advisor to the dashboard associated with the DASHADVISE. DASHADVISE 1,1 maps to the Student Services dashboard, 1,2 maps to the Financial Aid dashboard, 1,3 maps to the Student Financials dashboard, and 1,4 maps to the Placement dashboard. Multiple Advisor numbers may be mapped to a dashboard by separating the advisor numbers (numbers only, no alphabetical characters) by commas.
Example: To have Advisors 1 and 2 see their Advisees in the Student Services dashboard, set DASHADVISE Sequence 1, Parameter 1 value to 1,2.
Example: To have Advisors 2 and 3 see their Advisees in the Placement dashboard, set DASHADVISE Sequence 1, Parameter 4 value to 2,3.
