Exam Scheduling and Listing

About exam scheduling

You can associate a course with a dedicated exam period, such as a final exam. You can then provide students, faculty and others with access to a master listing of all courses and assigned exams so they know the time and place of their exam.

Prerequisites

  • The course must be scheduled.

  • Configure a default semester for permission groups that will have access to the exam listing. This semester appears selected by default when someone goes to the exam listing page.

Create exam codes (day & time)

Exam codes represent when exams meet. For example, exam code M9 may represent exams that are held Monday at 9am. Exam codes must be created for each semester.

  1. Go to Registrar > Exam Info.

  2. Click New Record.

  3. Select the semester that corresponds to semester in which the course is offered.

  4. Enter a 2-character Exam Code that you’ll associate with the course. For example, enter M9 for Monday at 9am.

  5. Enter an Exam Day, Date, Time, and AM or PM.

  6. Click Create.
