F/A Links
The purpose of this page is scanning the Financial Aid Link Table (FAPWRF) to add, change, or delete records.  This file is used in the Financial Aid Upload to determine the appropriate F/A award code for the award, based on the fund token.
Fund Token (FAPWRF/FUND_TOKEN)
This token corresponds to a specific award type in Financial Aid. The token is assigned by the Financial Aid Software for each award in a given award year. Therefore, it is necessary to create a new set of records in this file each year to describe new awards and the associated Campus Cafe award code. The Campus Cafe award code can and should remain the same from year to year.Â
Award Code (FAPWRF/AWARD_CODE)
This is the Award Code in Campus Cafe that corresponds to the Fund Token in the Financial Aid software. Only one token should point to each Campus Cafe award code in any given year.
Active Code (FAPWRF/ACTIVE_CODE)
The active code indicates whether this award is currently being used and should therefore be transferred to Campus Cafe.
Process Disb Code (FAPWRF/PROC_DISB_CODE)
An ‘N’ in this field indicates this award should not be disbursed through the Financial Aid Upload process. This is typically used in a situation where a loan is being dispersed manually or with the direct loan upload process. Once the award is dispersed in Campus Cafe, the Financial Aid Upload will have no further affect on the award if this code has a value of N.  Any other value in this field allows awards disbursed in Financial Aid to be disbursed in Campus Cafe during the transfer.
Process Percent (FAPWRF/PROC_PERCENT) - Optional based on PowerFaids SQL query setup and Is Direct Lending Loan Checked
This field contains the percentage of the award that should be deducted from the disbursed amount when transferred to Cafe during the Financial Aid Upload. It is also used in the calculation of outstanding pending and verified aid.
Process Fee (FAPWRF/PROC_AMOUNT) - Optional based on PowerFaids SQL query setup and Is Direct Lending Loan Checked
This field is not currently used - leave as Zero
