Find all individuals you’ve marked as faculty in Campus Cafe.

You need to communicate with faculty, record faculty as inactive, report on their demographics or provide a list of faculty to another system or party.

Considerations

• Do you need all faculty or just those teaching? This filter shows all faculty and doesn’t include a way to narrow results to just those teaching in a specific semester. If you need that, use the Course filter (Filters > Courses), search for courses offered in the semester and then show instructors in the results.

• Do you record faculty as active or inactive on their faculty info?

• Do you record a faculty’s division, department or roles such as department head on their faculty info?

Start with a pre-built filter

Use this as a starting point. You can add fields to further narrow faculty returned.

1. Go to Filters > Faculty.

2. In All Users select ZCC ACTIVE FACULTY.

3. Click Filters.
   
   

   Open

   

4. By default, the filter searches only faculty with an A - Active status. Next to Active click the three horizontal lines, select one or more faculty statuses and click Apply.
   
   

5. Click Submit.

Add criteria

You can further narrow your results by selecting Add Fields, searching for the field name and selecting it.

• Fac Category to narrow faculty to types such as adjunct, part-time, full-time, etc. Your institution defines these categories.

• Fac Codes Array to narrow faculty based on specific tags your institution defines. For example, you may have different codes for different faculty ranks such as assistant professor, associate professor and full professor.

Build results

You can show additional information alongside the results by selecting Column Visibility, searching for the field name and selecting it.

• Chair Person to show whether you’ve marked the faculty as a department chair.

• Email to show the faculty’s email address.

• Gender, Home State, Racial Background Decoded to show demographic information.
