About Gift Purpose
Donations can be associated with a specific purpose. For example, to indicate the donation supports a new basketball arena or music venue.
Configure Gift Purpose
Go to Advancement > Gift Purpose.
In the Add Purpose Code enter a short name for the purpose.
Click Submit.
Description: Text to characterize the purpose.
CC-GL-Fund: The Campus Cafe General Ledger fund associated with gifts for this purpose.
Fund: The donation module fund associated with gifts for this purpose.
Display Order: A number to represent where in the list of gift purposes the purpose shows on a donation form.
Show on Donation Form: Check to indicate purpose should be presented to donors while making a gift.
Inactive: Check to hide purpose from drop down menu when recording gifts
Click Save.
