About billing rule interface
Campus Cafe offers two billing rules interfaces. You must select one, and only one, interface.
The Billing Charges Interface offers unlimited charge rules per semester and rule codes to further refine the parameters of the charge and billing rules do not need to be tied to a major.
The Billing Rules Interface offers a limited number of charge rules per semester with all rules associated with a specific major.
Campus Cafe doesn’t recommend adopting the legacy Billing Rules Interface. Documentation is provided for reference.

Change billing rule interface
Don’t switch billing rules interfaces without first contacting Campus Cafe support.
Go to Admin > Custom Control.
In Search enter USE_CHARGE.
Click the pencil.
In Parameter Value 1 enter Y to use the Billing Charges Interface. Enter N to use Billing Rules Interface. Campus Cafe doesn’t recommend adopting the legacy Billing Rules Interface. Documentation is provided for reference.
Click Save. The change occurs the next day.
