About activity tracking members

In Campus Cafe activity tracking templates comprised of workflows let you store information about a person or trigger an action like an email or text. Activity tracking templates are associated with a member, which offers a way to categorize and organize your templates. You can also control access to activity tracking templates by member.

For example, the activity tracking member Admissions may be associated with actions and notes that occur during the application process and be limited to the Admissions Office. Another member Bursar would be associated with student financial notes and actions and be limited to the student financials team.

You can create these members to match the needs of your institution.

Create member

Create activity tracking template member

  1. Go to Admin > STParm.

  2. In Parameter Code enter ZZOFFC.

  3. In Parameter Value enter the brief name for the member. For example Bursar.

  4. Click Add.

  5. In Description enter brief text to describe the member. For example Bursar.

  6. In Long Description enter longer text to describe the member. For example Bursar Office.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Go to Admin > Refresh Data Cache.

To use activities associated with the member you just created, an individual must belong to a permission group that grants access to the member.
