About Student Financial Aid Transactions
Using the student holds system you can block a student from being either packaged for aid or blocked from awards being exported to a COD Export file. A student can have their financial aid processes blocked from either a defined Academic Hold or a defined Financial Hold.

Setting Up Financial Aid Holds
Financial Aid Auto-Packaging Hold
Financial Aid Auto-packaging block can take place based on Academic and Financial holds.
Inserting a comma separated list of Hold Codes into Custom Control FA_PKGHOLD 1-1 for Financial holds and/or 1-2 for Academic Holds, if a student has any listed hold type on their account auto-packaging will be blocked.
Financial Aid COD Export Hold
Financial Aid COD Export block can take place based on Academic and Financial holds.
Inserting a comma separated list of Hold Codes into Custom Control FA_PKGHOLD 1-3 for Financial holds and/or 1-4 for Academic Holds, if a student has any listed hold type on their account auto-packaging will be blocked.
