Student Financials encompasses the billing and payments components of Campus Cafe. Institutions may establish accounting rules that tie to billing rules that permits the system to bill students based on academic program (major), site or housing assignment. Payments collected can be booked in the system and applied to individual student ledgers/bills.

The above provides a high-level overview of the student financials process. The below provides a more detailed view of a payment flow. Prior to accepting a payment, institutions typically generate charges and apply those to the student's ledger.
