About Faculty Perspective Testing

The following offers a basic procedure to test faculty interaction with Campus Café. Not all features may apply to your institution.

1. Does the FERPA message appear after log in? Should it?

2. Can the faculty access all desired functions from the main menu, which may include:

   • Password change link (consider disabling if using SSO and replacing with a link to your SSO password reset)

   • Update their office hours

   • Search for other faculty

   • View the course catalog

2. Is the Faculty Dashboard visible?

3. Are course rosters accessible?

   • Are the correct columns visible on the roster? (For example, you may choose to suppress the hours and minutes columns if not a clock hour school.)

   • Are the correct actions available above the roster and do they work? For example, if configured, can the faculty send an academic alert from the roster?
