About gift finder

The gift finder allows you to search for donors and display their giving amounts.

Prerequisites

• Create constituents.

• Record gifts.

Required permissions

Go to the gift finder

1. Go to Filters > Gifts.

Find gifts by project expense code

You can use the gift finder to return gifts associated with a specific project expense code.

In the filter, you can enter all or part of a a PET code. Separate multiple codes with a comma.

The value “blank” can be inserted as a reason on gifts with no PET code, and works with the comma separated value logical operators (exclude blank, include blank.)

Send Results to Constituent Finder

For results which are individuals, the results may be sent to the constituent Finder where additional criteria can be applied or actions such as sending emails may be initiated. 

1. Select the results.

2. Click Send Selected to Constituent Finder.

Send Results to Org Finder

For results which are organizations, the results may be sent to the Organization Finder where additional criteria can be applied or actions such as sending emails may be initiated. 

1. Select the results.

2. Click Send Selected to constituent Finder.
