About BankMobile (Student Refunds)

BankMobile is a company providing services to deliver refunds to students. Refunds may occur if a student overpays their bill, receives financial aid in excess of their charges or other adjustments occur. 

Campus Cafe provides function to generate a file with refund information to send to BankMobile via SFTP. Customers should consult with BankMobile directly to obtain SFTP information.

Configure sFTP in Campus Cafe

1. Navigate to Admin > Web App

2. Locate and enter values for the below parameters
   SFTP_REFUNDS_REMOTE_HOST: The FTP or IP address to use when accessing the BankMobile sFTP account
   SFTP_REFUNDS_REMOTE_HOST_KNOWN_HOST_KEY: A secret key provided by BankMobile
   SFTP_REFUNDS_REMOTE_HOST_PASSWORD: The sFTP account password
   SFTP_REFUNDS_REMOTE_HOST_PATH: The file path to the location to place the file
   SFTP_REFUNDS_REMOTE_HOST_PORT: The port to use when accessing the BankMobile sFTP account
   SFTP_REFUNDS_REMOTE_HOST_USERNAME: The username to use when accessing the BankMobile sFTP account

Send the File to BankMobile

Before sending the file, refunds must be processed and posted.

Permission #816 is required to access this function.

1. Navigate to Financials > Bill Batch

2. Click EFT Batches

3. Next to the batch to transfer, click the transfer icon

   Open

   

4. A confirmation or error message appears at the top of the screen
